Sumatra Ika Red Cherry comes from the family run Jagong mill and surrounding farms (owned by Irham Junus, and his son and daughter), located in the Takengon and Atu Lintang coffee region of Aceh.
By only using ripe red fruit, and controlling the whole process from tree to export, they are able to ensure a very high quality of green coffee.
This coffee is grown between 1300-1600 meters, wet hulled, and when cupped presents notes of milk chocolate, nougat, and deep red cherry.
